“It indeed seems that the band has raised writing songs to Art with a capital 'A'... Gothic metal of the purest kind”

Novarium is a U.S.-based gothic metal outfit founded in 2013 marrying elements of doom, progressive, and symphonic metal with the dark ambience of synth and orchestral elements in a way that La Suricate Magazine (Belgium) describes as “…music that cleverly mixes sweetness with aggressiveness.”
Comprised of vocalist, Jen Janet (ex-Blind Revision, Mimesis), bassist Carey White, keyboardist Micah Consylman (ex-Bella Morte), drummer D. Anthony, and guitarists Sean Gronholt and Dean Michaels (live While Heaven Wept), the band has shared the stage with such notable acts as Hanzel und Gretyl, Genitorturers, and Amorphis. In 2017, the band earned a guest spot on the Infektion Divinum tour with industrial/black metal band, Psyclon 9.
With a rejuvenated lineup in 2018, the band paid homage to gothic metal titans, Type O Negative, by releasing their rendition of “Christian Woman.” In their first original offering since their debut album, Omicron (2016), the band has released their new single, “Virus” from their forthcoming EP, mixed and mastered at Deep End Studio in Baltimore, MD (Steep Steps). The release coincides with the band’s first official music video helmed by Zenbeast Media (GOZU, The Machinst). The band proudly endorses ESP guitars, Sinister Guitar Picks, and Soultone cymbals.
Novarium is currently hard at work on a second EP followed by plans for East and West Coast tours.
