“It indeed seems that the band has raised writing songs to Art with a capital 'A'... Gothic metal of the purest kind”

- Vixens Webzine (Netherlands) -

Novarium is a U.S.-based gothic metal outfit founded in 2013 marrying elements of doom, progressive, and symphonic metal with the dark ambience of synth and orchestral elements in a way that La Suricate Magazine (Belgium) describes as “…music that cleverly mixes sweetness with aggressiveness.”

Comprised of vocalist, Lisa D’Arcangelis, bassist Carey White, drummer D. Anthony, and guitarists Sean Gronholt and Dean Michaels, the band has shared the stage with such notable acts as Hanzel und Gretyl, Genitorturers, and Amorphis. In 2017, the band earned a guest spot on the Infektion Divinum tour with industrial/black metal band, Psyclon 9.

Following the success of their debut album, Omicron, released in 2016, the band wasted no time in bringing their style of sonic therapy to the masses, playing anywhere from small clubs to large venues. In 2018, the band paid homage to gothic metal titans, Type O Negative, by releasing their rendition of “Christian Woman”, which has been a featured staple of Sirius XM Liquid Metal’s “Corridor of Covers.” In their first original offering since Omicron, the band released the single, “Virus” from their EP, Stain of A Soul, followed by their first official music video for the track, helmed by Zenbeast Media (GOZU, The Machinst).

Following a period of inactivity brought on by world events, Novarium felt reinvigorated in 2022 and began laying the foundation for a new album and new music video to come.

The band proudly endorses ESP guitars, Sinister Guitar Picks, and Soultone cymbals.
